How Can You Be Positive All The Time?
Have you ever wondered how it is possible to be positive all the time? Like is there a secret that we don’t know of, to eliminate negative attitude?
My answer is simple, you can be positive all the time if you follow certain shortcuts and habits.
Now before I share these shortcuts with you, I must tell you that it is POSSIBLE to stay positive all the time, but even if you master the habit of being positive all the time you might still experience some drawbacks or challenges. You see, challenges and drawbacks teaches you valuable lessons and gives you the opportunity to gain control of your lives.
However, I have met many people who tend to believe that the accidents and problems we face are there to hold us back or make us unhappy. But I can assure you that that is not the case – without challenges you cannot experience success.
And this is because you have to pay the price of everything.
But don’t get discourage, like Zig Ziglar said: “You don’t pay the price for success- you pay the price for failure. You enjoy the benefits of success.“
Having challenges does not mean you have to feel unhappy about them. You only have to think of the challenge in a different way. You have to see the challenges as lessons and you need to find the positive side of any situation that you are in.
Sometimes recognizing the challenges is a challenge in itself, but if you learn to use your Observing Ego, recognizing such challenges and seeing the lesson in them becomes easier.
Once you understand that every situation has a positive side, you can change your perspective of the situation, giving you a better control of yourself and a better understanding of how the world works.
And although you’re used to getting emotional when things that appears to be unfortunate happen, there is a way to completely control your emotions. That includes being fully aware of yourself when negative things happen to you and trying to understand the situation, trying to see it for what it is instead of seeing it as your habitual thinking says it is. That can be very difficult, but with practice you can learn to see the positive side of any situation and see the lesson [or lessons] you have for yourself.[I recommend you read about The Observing Ego in this post]
If your emotions make you unhappy, there is another way for you to take control of your emotions. You need to understand that your mindset [or thoughts] makes you feel certain emotions, and you and I both know that thoughts are barely ever right.
Thoughts based on limited knowledge are called assumptions. [ Understanding that knowledge is input we receive from outside sources, and this input gets filtered by our perception of the reality.] Therefore this inner voice are just assumptions you make and not reality. The mere fact of being aware of this allows you to better control your emotions.
Even when you are in control of your emotions, it does not mean you’re not going to experience difficult moments in life. It simply means that you will be able to deal with them better because you do not allow emotions to make things worse.
Usually people who cannot understand how to be happy all the time, take their life too seriously. Such people always suffer from some kind of drama because they are too involved, emotionally, in their thoughts and their thoughts deceive them because these people lack the basic understanding of the power of the human mind.
When you really understand that your thoughts create your world, you stop getting emotionally upset, because you know that you are in control of your life – and not someone else or something else. You stop worrying and stress disappears, therefore positive manifestations will naturally follow you.
Where you are right now is exactly where you deserve to be.
Change your thinking and your life will change.
When you understand that you create your own world, you will be more careful with the roads you let your mind roam.
More tips on how to be positive all the time
Take Life Lightly. Your life is a beautiful gift that was given to you, but not the greatest gift. The greatest gift is your essence, your soul. Do not focus on the arguments or the disasters of life, as they will be the only things you will see. Be aware of what is happening around them rather than focusing on just one aspect of a situation and never forget that your life is not the be all and end all.
Don’t react, respond. When something negative happens to you, rather than reacting as you normally do, try to respond. This means you have to step back, use your Observing Ego and assess the situation as it is and then think about how to respond to the situation in a more beneficial way.
Share. Sharing and giving what you have with others, naturally makes you happy. If you make a habit of sharing and giving, positivity in your life will increase tremendously.
Be grateful. Some people are so unhappy with some aspect of their life that they completely miss the big picture. Start by being grateful for what you have and the easiest way to do this is by realizing that we live more comfortably than the vast majority of the world.
Have a compelling vision of your future. Where there is no vision, the people perish – and that’s really true. If you do not have a vision, you will have no purpose . You will live uninspired and unmotivated and that will lead to unhappiness. To become positive you have to create a compelling vision of the future and take small steps every day to achieve it.
Close out external influences. If you listen to the news and negative people , sooner or later you will become a negative person. To avoid this, remove as many negative influences in your life as possible. When you do, you will get your power back and that will make you positive.
Listen to your favorite music. The music can instantly change your mood, so if you are feeling “down”, listen to the music you like. Music changes our vibration, so you can quickly change the way you feel.
Exercise More. People who exercise are more positive than those who do not. Regular exercise gives you more confidence in yourself, so you feel more power, which leads to greater happiness.
Listen to inspiration CDs / read inspirational books. When I was very unhappy in the past, I started reading all kinds of books on self-help and personal growth I also started listening to inspirational CDs and audios and that pulled me out of my negative state. Inspirational tools can empower you and if you listen/read regularly, it will make you much more positive.
Keep your balance. People who lack balance in any area of their life are not happy. So you should maintain emotional balance, have balance in your relationships and in your health. For example, control your emotions and your thoughts, do not eat too much, do not overwork and for god sake don’t be too lazy.
This way of thinking and the habits mentioned in this article will teach you how to be positive all the time. Make a list of these tips and apply them in your lives as soon as possible.
